Re: Sailing

SAILING MAGIC CARPET - a Canadian woman and her Swiss husband traveled through the rivers and canals of Europe early in this series. Now they have been renovating a 39’ sailing boat that is nearing launch on journeys across oceans and around the world. They have been hard at work building Magic Carpet II for over four years. He is a talented woodworker and has a history of past employment working in boatyard repair. Good photography and content!

Re: Music

THE CLARK FAMILY CREATIVE - a talented rock musician plays rock n roll in a band with his three young children. Informal and fun music filmed in the home of these multi-talented young musicians. They appear to be @ 14, 13, and 8 years of age. They have appeared on the Grand ‘Ol Opry! Fun and entertaining!

SCHOOL OF ROCK - Highly talented students approx.16–30 years old give high quality rock n roll performances. This is their Julliard School of Music for Rock n Roll professional performance preparation. Really top-quality vocals and musicianship!

Re: People / Cultures

PETER SANTENOLLO - Perhaps my favorite U-tuber is Peter Santenollo. Travels throughout the US regions and cultures. Provocative interviewer travelling / discovering people and places you will find fascinating. Asks the hard questions and covers all topics! People trust him and share their regional quirks and secrets. Must see tv!

Re: Unique living environment / craftsmanship / architecture

MARTIJN DOOLARD - Martin is a fascinating person living his life in a rarified setting - two stone buildings he is renovating high in the Italian Alps above a small village. Artist, builder, world traveler, his approach to life is unique. He has bicycled all over the globe and a wonderfully gifted photographer / writer. Highly recommend!

GHOST TOWN LIVING - a young man has purchased a former high producing silver and lead mining town in the mountains of Southern California (Cerro Gordo) not far from Death Valley. Bringing a ghost town back to life!

LIFE ON THE MOOSE - A common sense how - to series illustrating construction techniques. Materials, designs, short cuts to construction featured.

SO, WE FOUND THIS RUIN - This update of 4/21/25 is to share a new and VERY promising addition to this category! A couple (he a writer, she an architect) have purchased property on Italy’s Amalfi Coast…. Not just property, but property holding a crumbling hillside ruin with spectacular views of the sparkling blue Mediterranean / beaches / town below. ‘Cept the “ruin” is truly that. Thought to be the site of a home first built 800 years ago, it has no roof, the walls are “partial”, it’s difficult to reach, has no water supply set up and oh by the way the property is completely overgrown with brush. The architect wife is the narrator and is interesting and easy to listen to. To date, they have finally taken possession of the property, and she has discussed with viewers a preliminary (basic) layout of rooms planned. This is going to be a great series with fascinating content, high quality photography, and amazement at the enormity this project foretells!

Re: Farming / Animals

JUST A FEW ACRES FARM - A talented couple farm and share their life caring for their land and animals. He is an amazing mechanic and repairs antique Farmall tractors. For city folks who dream of a small-scale farm life in the country. Cows, chickens, hay, and philosophy served in an interesting dish!

Re: Cars

THE CAR CARE NUT REVIEWS - A skilled mechanic reviews new cars on the market. What’s right and what’s wrong with the various cars and trucks being released in the marketplace! Informative, entertaining, this series is a must if you’re looking for a new car!

VICE GRIP GARAGE - An entertaining young good ‘ol boy from Tennessee finds decrepit rusty heaps away from home, repairs them, and seemingly risks his life driving them back home. Folksy, entertaining.
